CEB Engineers Begin Free Repair Service Of Electricity System In Flood-hit Homes

The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers Union has launched a free service to repair the electricity systems in the homes hit by the recent floods.

The programme was launched yesterday and is carried out in coordination with the other relevant unions in CEB.

Electricity systems in flood hit homes must not be touched or checked, unless by an electrician, CEB engineers warned. Every circuit and plug point must be checked and dried before the electricity is re-connected, they also said.

This service can be contacted through telephone: 011-3030303
