{"id":3155,"date":"2017-01-10T12:09:51","date_gmt":"2017-01-10T06:39:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cebeu.lk\/cebeuw\/?p=3155"},"modified":"2017-01-10T12:09:51","modified_gmt":"2017-01-10T06:39:51","slug":"ceb-to-go-ahead-with-much-debated-wind-power-plant-in-mannar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cebeu.lk\/?p=3155","title":{"rendered":"CEB To Go Ahead With Much Debated Wind Power Plant in Mannar"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In keeping with the green policies, the government has given the green light to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to go ahead with much debated 375MW Wind Power Plant Complex in Mannar.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>The\u00a0Sunday\u00a0Leader<\/em> reliably learns that that the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has given a grant to do a comprehensive feasibility study of the entire Mannar Island.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When contacted, CEB Chairman Anura Wijayapala stressed that there aren\u2019t any stumbling blocks to the project.
